This role would suit a younger candidate with basic management and events experience, and a strong work ethic. As a junior position, there is potential for the candidate to grow with the business while working side by side with the Kitchen Manager.

The Junior Reservations Consultant plays a central role in assisting with the management and optimisation of the reservations function across the Rare Earth Retreats portfolio. This means working with the systems and processes that drive occupancy and revenue, while maintaining the quality of service and relationships — with guests and trade partners alike — that define our brand.

The role calls for someone with some multi-property reservations experience and a genuine understanding of the lodge and hotel environment, but equally someone who brings warmth, curiosity and a collaborative spirit to their work.

General Manager/s at Rare Earth Retreats must have an in-depth understanding of lodge operations, finance and staff management. Apart from an obvious passion for hospitality and excellent people skills, they need to be inspiring and thoughtful leaders who are invested in the success and happiness of their team.
