MARKETING ASSISTANT & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The marketing assistant and social media manager role balances two areas of responsibility: supporting our Marketing Manager in the execution of key marketing projects and managing the Company’s social media content and accounts. In the marketing aspect of the role, you’ll collaborate with other team members and provide support to a wide range of marketing initiatives. In the social media aspect of the role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our strategy across social media platforms, managing customer engagement, building digital brand awareness and supporting company objectives. Ideal candidates are familiar with the hospitality industry, love to travel and have a passion for brand storytelling.

This is a contract position which has the potential to evolve into a full-time role.

KITCHEN MANAGER / JUNIOR CHEF

This role would suit an energetic, recently-qualified chef looking to take the first steps in managing their own kitchen or someone with limited experience but showing great potential.

Driver’s license and own vehicle essential.

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

The Assistant General Manager reports into the relevant department heads on any particular shift. They will be the liaison between departments, namely: Food and Beverage, Accommodation, and Front of House. The Assistant General Manager needs to have an overall understanding of all of the above in order to be able to fill in as required for any staff member who is not available for duty.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the guest experience, from arrival to departure, is seamless in accordance with all policies and procedures set by The Old Rectory Hotel & Spa, and in line with the company’s core values.
